Sixth victory for Holowczyc

(01.09.2019) MINI John Cooper Works Rally driver Krzysztof Holowczyc won Baja Poland for the sixth time in his career today. Another X-Raid MINI driver – Jakub Przygoński took the second place. ORLEN Team driver reached the finish in Szczecin 6 minutes and 52 seconds behind rally winner. Meanwhile Vladimir Vasilyev in Overdrive-built Toyota Hilux secured podium finish losing over 20 minutes to Holowczyc.

Przygonski scored as many as 21 points today and moved up to third overall in FIA World Cup for Cross Country Bajas overall standings. Vasilyev earned 16 points, which saw him climb up to the top of the leaderboard. Former leader Orlando Terranova did not score any point after he was forced to retire due to power steering issue on SS2.
