ORLEN Baja Poland in a new formula

The FIA World Cup for Cross Country Rallies visits Szczecin for the sixth time in a row hosting the fastest drivers in the world in this unique motorsport branch. Fans gathered in the capital city of West Pomeranian region will have an opportunity to follow the rivalry for a victory in the 9th round of the FIA World Cup for Cross Country Rallies. Moreover they will also have a chance to participate in many non-sporting events prepared by the organizer of the event - Baja Poland Foundation.

Once again, modern and picturesque Łasztownia Island will be a main point on the ORLEN Baja Poland map. This is the place where fans will find all offices, rally fan park and a service park, which, where supporters will have an opportunity for not only watching mechanics at work, but also meeting with drivers who fight for a win.

Unlike in the past, the organizer decided for more compact and friendly scheme for fans, focusing more action in one place. Thanks to this, ceremonial start will also be held on the Łasztownia Island and not on the Wały Chrobrego located on the other side of the Odra river.

The organizer of the 9th round of the FIA World Cup for Cross Country Rallies took a lot of effort to provide spectators with as many attractions as possible. On the Szczecin’s Łasztownia Island they will be able to participate in competitions, quizes, as well as diversed zones for safety and traffic knowledge and awareness.

Additional attraction this year is also the place, where scrutineering will take place. It’s The Museum of Technology and Transport in Szczecin. All fans are invited to participate in this part of the rally as well as visiting the museum itself, which provides a special discount for 31st August – 1st September.

The first point on this year’s ORLEN Baja Poland schedule will be a shakedown, which starts on Friday morning, September 1st. Later on, the most important competitors will participate in pre-event press conference, after which the official start of the rally takes place. Since 6.00 p.m. fans will be able to watch proper rivalry on 7 km super special stage on the Military Training Ground on Szafera Street in Szczecin, just like years before.
